ROLL 2
Some photos from my second roll of my trip to Mexico. I got the opportunity to go see one of my favorite artist Kanye West in Plaza de los Toros in the heart of the city. The show was remarkable, the photos don’t do it justice. We also go to walk through the famous barrio Tepito which I've only heard about in books and in videos. It is so dope and loved my time there. The micheladas were flowing and the food was remarkable. The experience of that market was liking being apart of this huge ecosystem or some sort of chaotic living organism. I felt it all and want to go back and experience it more in-depth. I feel so privileged to able to return to the land my grandparents are from. In all my life I have never felt so connected to my culture. Living it first hand also makes me grateful for the sacrifices my family made for me to have this life in the United States.
In all honesty a lot of these photos are not my best work. I was out of my element and am still a little shy when it comes to taking photos. You might see a little glimmer of my finger in front of the lens or perhaps an out of focus shot. Bear with me as I find my footing with this photography thing. I am still so green and have so much more to learn. It kills me that some of these shots were interrupted by my inadequacies.
