Like a Bully

$150.00

Drew this the day Kanye dropped his latest album, Bully. I was high off of just seeing him in Mexico City. We also had the chance to go to the luchas, so the imagery of masks was fresh in my mind. This one rolled out of my hands so naturally. I was genuinely excited and overjoyed for this release. I played the leaks and bootlegs for months. I put up with all the AI slop to get an actually great album. I love the way Kanye pushes the boundaries of what we know in all senses of knowing. Like, wtf is a finished album? What kind of music does he even make anymore? Challenging the listener to sniff out artificial intelligence and challenging his legacy with sloppy releases. He doesn’t care; it’s inspiring to see someone just let it all hang out. The final result is always worth it, or the lessons learned are just as valuable.

So about this particular piece, I noticed when I was in a good mood the clouds would go up. When I was sad the clouds would attack the viewer. The lighter colors and directions let me know I was content on this day.
