If you’re familiar with my work, you’ll know that I am an avid doodler. This piece is very much that: an elaborate doodle that forced me to utilize more pastel than I was comfortable with. It was an experiment with the material and various blending techniques. I really enjoyed creating it, as it fits within the theme of clouded vision and uncertainty. This one performed well on Instagram for some reason, even though it isn’t a personal favorite of mine. It’s weird how some pieces mean the world to me but don’t resonate with the audience, while others tickle a feeling in the viewer. I can’t complain; my intention is to push myself and push you. The other day, a young host at my job claimed a drawing I did for the business was created with AI. I was taken aback by the preposterous claim! It then dawned on me that this is the future: people will assume anything beyond their thought of what is possible will be chalked up to being created artificially. Fuck that! As long as I live, I'm gonna create funky shit that no one asked for. I ended up taking it as a compliment. ADRIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
